Single Parent Advocate is developing a network of nonprofits and government agencies commonly of service to Single Parent Families.  Presently, the Resources section of this website offers a good start to getting help fast.  Single Parent Advocate works to educate and connect families to their strong and suitable aid that is often available, but just needs to be utilized better. 

Businesses in the private sector can offer discounts to single parents and their organizational groups in the Single Parent Advocate "Get Connected" Community.  This participation program is for business leaders to be able to extend relief by offering  discounts and practical relief on daily needs and expenses for Single Parent Families.  Additionally, business owners can offer employment opportunities with flexible options that can help improve work/life balance where possible.

SPA is developing and creating events "SafeSocials" to connect families and their supporting organizations so they can help one another as they are helping themselves in their own communities.

SPA is collecting and distributing duress funds to reinvest into non-profit partners who embrace and effectively improve the quality of life of Single Parent Families via physical, mental, social, and where appropriate, financial assistance. 

SPA also plans to develop partnerships for counseling, scholarships, education, and employment development.

Single Parenting is tough for the parents and the kids but if we work together, we can build something new where it is appropriate, and use our existing resources better where that is appropriate as well.
